Christmas and New Year Greetings

Dear Friends,
Before things get too hectic here with Christmas programs, I want to let all of you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you for this holiday season. Even after being in the tropics for 20 years at Christmas time, I still miss the joy of being with family and home church friends in the midst of snow and cold. Even so, the joy and peace of celebrating the BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST is refreshing no matter where we are in the world.
There will be a bit of touch of home for me this year, as we will have 10 visitors from Moses Lake, Washington here for Christmas and New Year. I think it will be their most adventurous Christmas, and hopefully their most rewarding. I know the people here will be blessed by their presence and ministry.
I am glad to report to you that none of our churches suffered any major damage in the series of 4 TYPHOONS we had in recent weeks. They did lose their crops and will be without electricity for at least 2 months, but we are so thankful that we were spared the terrible tragedy that came upon many nearby areas, where hundreds were buried in mud. Our prayers go out to those who lost so much.
May this Christmas be a time for us all to reflect on the wonderful blessings we all have in just knowing Jesus Christ, our Emmanuel. God be with you in all His power, joy, love, hope and peace this Christmas.
In Christ,
Dale
