Merry Christmas Dear Friends,

.

Along with all overseas missionaries, we are having some financial struggles this Christmas, because of low U.S. dollar exchange rates.  In a way it is good to help us all remember THAT IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS.  Even though we have scaled back our Christmas programs considerably, we will still be distributing CHRISTMAS FOOD PACKAGES TO SEVERAL HUNDRED POOR FAMILIES here in Navotas, and also in Malabon, Ragay, San Jose (Goa), and Caramoan.  Any help that anyone wants to give will warm the hearts of families that otherwise have nothing extra at Christmas.  We will still do our best to push through with our ANNUAL CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM here in Navotas with preparations for 500 kids.

You may have heard that we have had a SERIES OF TYPHOONS in the last few weeks.  Especially hard hit was CARAMOAN, where continuous heavy rain flooded many homes and washed out many crops.  There were a number of mudslides that blocked roads and a minor one behind our church, but overall we are so THANKFUL FOR GOD’S PROTECTION.

The BUILDING PROJECT IN SAN JOSE (GOA) has been on skeleton crew for the last few weeks because of lack of budget, but I PRAISE GOD FOR THE RECENT SPECIAL OFFERING for this project at my home church, FIFTH AVENUE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, Havre, Montana, which will allow us to finish the building.  Starting next week, we will go full speed ahead to try to finish before Christmas.  GOD IS SO GOOD.   Recent pictures can be seen on my website at www.icm-phil.net

Our STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM continues to go well.  Overall, we have had 22 STUDENTS involved this year: 12 in Navotas, 3 in Malabon, 2 in Ragay, 1 in Naga, 3 in Caramoan, and 1 Bible Student from Caramoan, studying in Manila.  We have had minimal problems with grades and behavior, and overall they have been motivated to steadily improve their performance.  All are very active in their churches.   I am really proud of them and I’m praying that we can help more in the future.  This kind of help REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN THESE KIDS’ LIVES.  THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE.

MAY GOD’S BLESSINGS AND PEACE BE YOURS THIS CHRISTMAS.

In Christ,

Dale
