During the month of MARCH, I was almost totally occupied with TWO SHORT-TERM MISSION TRIPS, one coming in and one going out. March 1-13 we enjoyed the visit of four from my home church - Fifth Avenue Christian Church, Havre, Montana (Chad & Jennifer Leatherman and Hugh & Charlotte Gwynn). We had a whirlwind tour of churches in Navotas, Malabon, Ragay, Goa and Caramoan, where we had a Building Dedication Service, and we worked in a couple tourist days in between. God used the ministry of these four in a wonderful way to encourage our leaders and members, and especially me. I’m sure they were overwhelmed by some their experiences, but they rolled with the punches and had a tremendous impact through the power of God’s love. March 18-28, our NAVOTAS CHURCH sent me and one Filipino (Bro. Carlo Llagas) out to HONG KONG and CHINA, in partnership with International Christian Mission. We ministered with Ken & Linda Smyth’s church in Hong Kong on March 19, then, after one day at Hong Kong Disneyland, we spent the rest of our time with churches in and around Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, China. God is doing amazing things in this area of China, as the churches grow in number and strength, and we felt so privileged to be a small part of it. This trip is the last of a series of trips we have made to this area in the past years to prepare for a larger Filipino team to China in 2007.

Hectic Schedules will continue through April and May here in the Philippines. These are school vacation months here, a time for Vacation Bible Schools in all our churches and MISSION OUTREACH TEAMS from Navotas going to help with EVANGELIZING some remote areas around the RAGAY and CARAMOAN CHURCHES. Please pray with us as we continue to DEVELOP A ZEAL FOR MISSION in our Philippine churches. Our biggest focus will be on some STREET PROGRAMS IN NAVOTAS on April 13 and 15 before Easter, including a showing of a Tagalog version of the “Passion of the Christ,” a MISSION TRIP TO BICOL April 19 – May 6, and VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IN NAVOTAS, May 17 – 21.

All of the above activities leaves me one week at the end of May to prepare for 3 BUSY MONTHS IN THE U.S. AND CANADA, beginning June 1. Below, I will list churches where I will be speaking and some of the other places I will be for these 3 months. I am looking forward to the opportunity to visiting with as many of you as possible, and sharing GOOD REPORTS ABOUT WHAT GOD IS DOING THROUGH OUR MINISTRY IN THE PHILIPPINES AND CHINA. Please PRAY FOR MY PHYSICAL STRENGTH to cope with my schedule for the next 5 months.
