Dear Friends,

It seems God continues to accelerate our work for Him.  It is wonderful to be challenged and stretched for the purpose of reaching the world with the Gospel message.  I have really come to the point where I cannot imagine myself doing anything else for the rest of my life.  Here are just a few of the things that have been going on or are in planning for 2007:

  1. A team of 10 from Moses Lake Christian Church, Moses Lake, Washington departed on January 5 after two weeks of challenging the people with a message of love through word  and deed, and being challenged by seeing people full of the joy of the Lord even as they are immersed in the struggles of poverty and an environment of spiritual darkness.

  2. No less was the ministry and experience of another group of 10 from FIFTH AVENUE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, HAVRE, MONTANA and CLIFTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH, GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.  I am so blessed when groups come and bless our people, but, even more, I stand in awe to imagine the full potential of these people and their churches as they continue to listen to GOD’S CALL TO ALL CHRISTIANS to declare the truth of Him who has called us all out of darkness and into His marvelous light. IF TWO WEEKS OF COMMITMENT CAN SHAKE THE WORLD LIKE THIS FOR CHRIST, IMAGINE WHAT POTENTIAL LIES IN FUTURE COMMITMENTS OF CHURCH AND INDIVIDUALS.

  3.  Our CHURCH IN NAVOTAS, METRO MANILA will be sending out mission teams in APRIL and MAY (school vacation time here).  Besides doing VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL in RAGAY, GOA and CARAMOAN, we’ll have a LEADERSHIP SEMINAR for Bicol area church leaders on May 2 and a BICOL YOUTH CONFERENCE on May 3-4.  Featured speaker will be PASTOR JOHN ROBERTS of Moses Lake Christian Church, who will be visiting us, along with his son JONATHAN, from April 26 to May 9.

  4. We will also be having VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL in NAVOTAS and MALABON in April.  Overall in all locations, we hope to reach 1,000 KIDS AGAIN THIS YEAR through our programs in April and May.

  5. Recently, INTERNATIONAL DISASTER EMERGENCY SERVICE (IDES) granted us $3,000 to provide RELIEF TO TYPHOON VICTIMS IN THE BICOL AREA (southeastern part of Luzon Island).  I did an initial distribution of food for 35 FAMILIES IN RAGAY on February 26 and 30 FAMILIES IN GOA on February 27.  Also, we purchased materials to REBUILD THE ROOF OF A CHURCH IN NAGA CITY.  I am gearing up to go to CARAMOAN on March 16 where we will provide FOOD FOR 80 FAMILIES and ASSIST WITH MATERIALS FOR  REPAIRING OR REBUILDING AT LEAST 10 HOUSES.

  6. While distributing the IDES relief, I am also distributing 240 BIBLES purchased through GIFT OF THE YOUTH GROUP AT FIFTH AVENUE CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN HAVRE, MONTANA, and USED CLOTHING sent by friends at FAITH IN CHRIST FELLOWSHIP near SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.  GOD IS SO GOOD.

  7. I am also working on a CHINA TOUR July 30 to August 10, 2007 with CLIFFORD SHAW from VALLEY CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN BILLINGS, MONTANA, his son JONATHAN, who teaches English in China, KAY DAVIDSON, a fellow Montana missionary here in the Philippines, and others.  If you are interested, contact Clifford.

  8. We are SAVING FOR THE BUILDING WE PLAN TO CONSTRUCT IN GOA on the land we purchased last October.  If you wish to do some fund raising for that or designate some gift, we would be so happy to welcome you as a partner in this project.  Overall, we will need about $20,000 for this.

  9. Through assistance from some friends at MOSES LAKE CHRISTIAN CHURCH we are currently working on providing surgery for a CHILD WITH CLEFT PALATE.  This is the fourth such surgery they have helped with.  They also are arranging for a WHEEL CHAIR for a crippled woman in RAGAY, which will be delivered at the end of April.  These are things out of reach for people here, but with a little effort and love these people are being shown the true love of God.  Thank you, Moses Lake.

  10. I have talked to you for years about my HEARTACHE for the number of FILIPINO KIDS WHO DROP OUT OF SCHOOL FOR ECONOMIC REASONS, and many of you have expressed an interest in helping.  On the average it costs about $150 per year for me to keep a student in school.  We have been debating how to support more with outside involvement without commercializing it.  We want it to be focused on academics, and most of all on spiritual development.  I will be sending out a separate information letter on how you can partner with us on this.  Please pray for God’s wisdom to develop this in a way that He is the focus, not money or us who provide the money.

WOW! How do you like that for a list of things to keep us busy for a while?  This is all in addition to the daily chores of developing and advancing living ministry to all our growing churches.  We need your help through prayer, finances, encouragement, and church-based plans for ministry visits.  TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

In Christ,

Dale
