FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES - SAN JOSE (Formerly in Goa)

GOA, CAMARINES SUR.  Goa is a city of about 43,000 people, four hours beyond Ragay by way of Naga, or a total of about 12 hours from Manila by bus.  We rent a building here and have a congregation of about 60.  The building is large enough to accommodate a future Ministry Training Institute, which we also want to support some livelihood projects.  We are hoping that we can buy the current building for a permanent location or some other suitable location.  Pastor Ben Corral and his family minister at the church.

BICOL REGION.

GOA is part of the BICOL REGION of the Philippines:
BICOL is the area southeast of Manila at the southern end of Luzon Island  Both our church in Navotas and I, individually, have devoted much of our mission outreach efforts here many years.  This is basically an agricultural area.  They speak a different dialect, Bicolano, with a number of other minor dialects among mountain tribes.  Except for a few cities in the area, it has been mostly neglected by missionary efforts since World War II.  We have focused our attention and strategy in this area in three basic areas: Ragay, Goa and Caramoan.
