PROJECTS & FUNDING PRIORITIES FOR 2008-2009

  1. MINISTRY TRAINING:  On January 4, 2009 I will surrender my role as Senior Minister of our Navotas Church after 20 years in that position.  I will remain with them as Mission Pastor, but my work will focus on Ministry Training Seminars and Module Courses for all five of our churches, plus Mission Outreach and Mission Training.  We will need help for materials and equipment, and will be open to visiting teachers.
  2. MISSION OUTREACH:  In 2009 I will focus more on training Filipinos for mission and leading Mission Outreach Teams.  We will continue to reach out to areas of the Philippines in need of Christian witness, but also begin to go through some open doors in China, Vietnam and Laos.  Please consider being a part of this new chapter in my missionary endeavors.
  3. STUDENT SUPPORT:  I want to maintain and expand our Student Support Program, especially to Support More Bible School Students.  Some of those we have been supporting in High School will be graduating this year, and a few are really praying about Bible School.  These kids will be the future of our churches here long after I am gone.  Please consider being a part of it.
  4. BUILDINGS:  Our church in Malabon is still meeting in a rented facility and our church in Navotas is struggling with a building too small for the ministry.  Also, we want to construct a small dormitory next our new building in San Jose to house students coming our other churches for Seminars and Module Courses, as well as for our visiting Short-Term Mission Teams.
  5. HELP REBUILD EARTHQUAKE DAMAGED CHURCHES IN CHINA: Lord willing, we will do a joint project with matching funds from IDES.
